During this workshop you will learn:
- How to interpret your unsuccessful CFE results (Albert Einstein once said, “Failure is success in progress,” and we couldn’t agree more, so let’s take your success to the next level)
- How to identify and correct case-writing habits that do not maximize your score (after all, our joint main goal is for you to pass the exam with lots of room to spare)
- How to significantly improve your writing style and achieve depth in your communication (everyone talks about “depth” but how do you actually achieve it? Learn our “depth” formula. It works)
- Trusted tips and techniques to avoid the quant “time trap” (which you can fall into if you enjoy doing quants . . . or even if you don’t!)
- Some extremely effective techniques to correctly rank requireds and case issues, and tips on allocating time and sticking to time budgets (sticking to time allocations is supremely important, but, as we all know, intending to do something and doing it are two different things)
- TopPrep tips on how to avoid common mistakes while planning and outlining a case (and outlining a case can literally make it or break it for you on a given case!)
- How to avoid common mistakes with accounting issues, the audit planning memo, audit procedures and control weaknesses discussions (this list is based on our team’s extensive experience as case-writing coaches and instructors, and now we are sharing it with you!)
- Time-tested strategies on how to prepare for the CFE while maintaining a healthy mind and body (yes, we’ll talk study habits, burnout, food and lifestyle tips)
- How to deal with exam anxiety (let’s face it — it’s a stressful process, but we can significantly reduce your stress)
Outside of the workshop, we will give you the opportunity to write a case, which we will mark and give you feedback on. Your first paper of 2023!)
