What is TopPrep?
We’re a CPA PEP and CFE exam prep program. Our live workshop series will teach you a practical step-by-step approach to quickly organize and write strong CFE/PEP case responses within the allotted time.
We also offer one-on-one and small-group coaching and marking services. Our practical approach to case writing has helped hundreds of students pass their CPA PEP and CFE exams.

CPA exam stress and anxiety is a serious issue. Most students feel overwhelmed by the short amount of time given to complete a typical CPA case. But with the active learning that we train you in, you will have no reason to feel anxious or be worried about CPA exams. We’ve got your back.
TopPrep is all about teaching you what to write and how to write quickly and effectively, and how to succeed under the CPA exam conditions where you have a limited writing time. Our philosophy is that to become good at something, you need to practise doing it.
Think about it:
- To learn how to play basketball, you need to play on a real basketball court, not just watch basketball games on TV.
- To become fluent in a new language, you need to try to speak the language with native speakers, not just watch movies in that language in a movie theatre.
To become proficient at case-writing and easily pass CPA exams, you need to practice case-writing.

During the CPA exams, you’ll have to combine your technical knowledge with case facts under extreme time pressure.
You can’t learn how to write effectively in these conditions by watching pre-recorded videos or listening to someone read case solutions out loud.
To become confident in case-writing, you simply need to write. And that’s what we teach you at TopPrep.
You’ll learn a practical step-by-step approach to reading, organizing, and writing a strong case response.
You’ll also get live feedback on your case writing, designed to help you improve. Our workshops are capped in size, so you’ll always have your instructor’s full attention.

We understand that signing up for an entire CPA exam prep program can be costly.
That’s why we divided our program into separate workshops that focus on specific CPA case components. This way, you can choose which learning goals you want to prioritize.
For instance, if you already feel confident planning and outlining a case but feel that you need help with writing audit procedures and tests of controls, you can simply sign up for that specific workshop. The choice is yours.
We offer a price discount if you sign up for multiple workshops: we do this because our goal is to help you reach ALL OF your learning objectives.

Becoming a CPA can be expensive. In preparation for each CFE, we will open up several free spots in our workshops. To qualify, simply submit a short essay (300-500 words) explaining why you decided to pursue a CPA designation. We will select the most interesting responses and invite you to attend one of our workshops for free.
When you pass your final CPA exam (the CFE), we’ll provide you free career coaching to all of our students (workshop, marking, coaching) as congratulations! We just love helping people become successful CPAs, and we want to help you build an incredible career!
